| Abstract: | In this article the author examines the paradoxes in language at the phonetic, lexical, morphological, syntactic and stylistic levels. In this context, we recall that in our discourse we can often identify the presence of inconsistency, even of logical and semantic paradoxes. From this perspective, namely pragmatics, those subject matter is real communication through language, offers conclusive solutions for such situations. Moreover, the view offered by pragmatics can increase the efficiency of various types of negotiations, of teaching the mother tongue and foreign languages as well as of intergroup and interethnic communication. |
