| Abstract: | The article deals with the distinction between the Restrictive Apposition and the Non-restrictive Apposition. In a grammatical construction with a Restrictive Apposition, the second element limits and clarifies the foregoing one in a crucial way. On the other hand, the Non-restrictive one does not narrow down the first element, but rather provides additional information about it. We highlight that the difference between the two is given by the way in which the grammatical agreement is made. |
