| Abstract: | The present paper is intended, on the one hand, as a comparative analysis of the factitive category in Romanian and in French and, on the other hand, as an analysis of the problems encountered in the translation of the factitive constructions. The factitive category has different means of expression in Romanian and in French; in Romanian the factitive is less homogeneous from this point of view than it is in French, hence the difficulties that may occur in the translation process. |
