Abstract:This paper tries to emphasize some observations regarding Romanian – South Slavic interferences in anthroponomy. Some of the most frequent names in Romanian anthroponomical system are by Slavic origin, some have Slavic suffixes (-in, -ici, -ov, -ovici, -ev, -evici etc.) The interferences are on phonetic, morphological and structural level. As an example for the Romanian, Bulgarian and Serbian forms of name we gave Ion /Ivan / Iovan.
Language: Romanian
