Abstract:	Our study aims at synonymy as one of the paradigmatic relations having implications upon the uniqueness of the sense, as well as upon the scientific discourse. The sources of the terminological synonymy, the typology, are aspects to be viewed from two perspectives: descriptive, statical, by presenting the types of equivalences, and functional, by presenting the dynamics of the synonymic relations, a perspective that implies setting the equivalence specific factors, limits etc. Studiul nostru vizează sinonimia ca relaţie paradigmatică cu implicaţii asupra unicităţii sensului ca şi asupra discursului ştiinţific. Sursele sinonimiei terminologice, tipologia, sunt aspecte care pot fi percepute din două perspective: descriptive, statice, prezentând tipurile de echivalenţe şi respectiv funcţionale, prezentând dinamica relaţiilo sinonimice, o perspectivă ce implică stabilirea factorilor specifici, a limitelor etc.
