Abstract:The Versailles’ agreement of 28th June 1919 marks the end of German colonisation in Cameroon. Through this same occasion, it gives to France the power of domination upon Cameroon. By then, Cameroon adopts French as official language. While imposing itself, the French language gets in contact with subordinate sociocultural realities as far as evangelization practices are concerned in West Cameroon. Therefore, we are in an interactive process between the « Selves » and the « Others » not anymore in terms of polarities but rather in terms of acquisition and adaptation of cultural artefacts, which leads directly toward mixing processes.
