L’article présente l’analyse succincte d’une proposition d’approximation terminologique dans un domaine spécialisé, en l’occurrence celui des collectivités locales. L’analyse est suivie par la description d’un logiciel qui donne l’équivalence fonctionnelle d’un terme dans une autre langue, par l’utilisation d’une structure hiérarchique des descripteurs communs. Á partir de ce logiciel destiné aux collectivités locales et á l’administration, l’auteure propose un possible modèle d’identification des équivalences fonctionnelles qui, une fois complétées suite à un processus d’extension et de particularisation détaillée, pourront être adaptées à d’autres domaines spécialisés.
Our paper briefly presents a proposition of terminological approximation in the specialized field of local authorities. Our analysis is followed by an overview of software which provides the functional equivalence of a term in another language using a hierarchical structure of common descriptors. Starting from this software, the author suggest a possible model for the identification of those functional equivalences which could be adapted to other specialized fields after they are completed during a process of extension and detailed particularization.
