In this paper, which can be read at the same time as a confession, the author formulates a range of personal opinions and feelings regarding the teaching/learning process of French in schools throughout the world, as it has been perceived after her participation as a member of the Romanian team at the CECA project (Teaching Culture, Learning Culture).
