This analysis describes words which have generally an identity-based characteristic, on the basis of music bands and artists name. These words are morphologically created from simple or complex lexical units, borrowing, free or complex syntagmatic constructions and possessive phrases. Furthermore, this article highlights nouchi words which are popularized by zouglou music. These words are formed with reference to compounding, derivation, or complete duplication. This analysis is also interested in words semantic organization. At this level, the article points out some shift in meaning, homonymy, polysemy, synonymy or ethnotype – related issues.
