[Historical and Dialectal Aspects of the Romanian Verbal System in „Băgări de seamă asupra canoanelor gramăticeşti”] The article analyses the Romanian verbal system in “Băgări de seamă asupra canoanelor gramăticeşti”, a grammar published by Iordache Golescu in 1840. We investigate, on the one hand, the conservative features that underlie the continuity relation with the prevoius stage of Romanian verbal system, and, on the other hand, the innovative features that occur mainly at the dialectal level.
