| Abstract: | An inedited group of 11 letters addressed by Sever Pop (1901-1961) to Dumitru C. Amzăr (1906-1999), written between 1950-1957, are being published. In these letters the famous dialectologist shared with his dialogue partner various data regarding the Romanian Language. The exchange of ideas and informations regarding lingvistics which these pages of correspondance reveal represent an important argument in favor of their restitution. Today the letters are preserved in the letters collection of the Manuscripts Departement of the Romanian Academy Library. |
