Abstract:This paper compares two Anglophone writers who presently live and write in Romania: Philip O’Ceallaigh and Richard Proctor. Both of them came to Romania after 1990 as lecturers of the British Council. They decided not to leave the country after they completed their mission with the prestigious British organization. Both of them published books inspired from their Romanian experiences.
