Our article aims at highlighting some of the aspects referring to the way of approaching the problems of Romanian philology, in the pages of the publication Foaia diecesană during the years 1886-1918. We have analyzed the literary language, folklore, phonetic spelling and the neologisms excessively introduced in the Romanian language and what is most important to mention is their wrong use.
